Car Choices:
The 2.5 diesel with 81hp would not win any awards since it is noisy and unrefined. But admit it, it'll live longer than you do as they are particularly known for durability and maintaining one does not drain the wallet. Unlike the Crosswind that succeeded, there is no automatic transmission available.
SL models do get power steering, cassette player, and in later models, alloy wheels. The SLX adds power windows and power door locks. Introduced in 1999 is the XTRM which has meatier bumpers, chrome finishes, and step boards. No rear wiper is available on the options list, though.
