Car Choices:
The 2.5 diesel with either 62hp for 2003 and below models or 73hp is the engine of choice. It may not have stellar acceleration and noteworthy fuel efficiency (that's if we compare to the Crosswind) but it is quiet and muted.

Available until 2008 is the 114hp 2.0 gasoline lifted from the Galant. Against the Revo's petrol engines, it is better overall in terms of fuel economy but acceleration is on par with the Revo's 2.0 gasoline. You can order an automatic transmission with this option.

Let us discuss the available variants and we shall start with the basic model. The GX gets at least power steering, CD player (for 2007 and later units), vinyl seats, steel rims, and can seat 10 people and be ordered with the diesel engine. GLX models gain alloy rims, power windows (pre-mid 2007 GLX's had wind-up windows), power mirrors, fabric seats, and for 2012 models, a touch screen radio (2004 to some 2012 units get a CD player while earlier ones have a cassette). GLS (renamed as the GLS Sport in 2003) adds rear wiper with washer system and keyless entry. GLS Sport models have roof rails, center console with cupholders, power door locks, and can be distinguished by their two tone colors and body stickers in pre-2007 models. Super Sport variants add wood trim, leather seats, brake lamp, and the spare tire is mounted at the back (it is migrated with the Grand Sport's discontinuation in late 2006). The top end Grand Sport has an overhead LCD monitor with VCD/DVD (latter was added in 2004), leather upholstery, and chrome bits. For 2012, an SE model is available in the GLX, GLS Sport, and Super Sport that gains body stickers and a GPS ready touch screen head unit.
