Car Choices:
Unlike the Toyota Avanza that carries 109hp in its 1.5 engine, the APV just carries 91hp inside the standard 1.6 gasoline engine. This is more suited inside the city due to the limited horsepower, but go on highway runs or climbing on mountains the vehicle shows its limitations.

From 2005 until 2008, one can choose between the GL and the GLX. GL variants get power windows, power door locks, CD player, silver interior accents, rear wiper and washer, alloy wheels and can be ordered with the manual transmission. Choosing the GLX adds alarm system, keyless entry, digital clock, vanity mirrors in front, cup holders, power mirrors, chrome grille, and paired with an automatic transmission. An update done in 2008 had the trim levels revised and renamed to GA, GLX, and SGX. Going for the GA gives you steel wheels, power steering, fabric seats, CD player, and black bumpers. The revised GLX gains body colored bumpers, rear wiper with washer system, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, and a standard manual transmission. The top end SGX adds dual airbags, alarm system, keyless entry, power mirrors, captain's chairs in the middle, and the option between a manual and an automatic transmission (the former was dropped in late 2011).
