Car Choices:
Gas or diesel? This is a no brainer answer. It may not be outstanding in any way, but the 2.0 diesel either available in 150hp (2007-2011) or 161hp (2012 and later) provides power in the low range and returning decent fuel figures.

Never bother with the 2.4 gasoline which can be had in either 150hp (2007-2011) or 163hp (2012 to present). It is quiet but performance isn't commendable and fuel economy isn't good when driving inside the city.

Both engines can be had in either front wheel or all wheel drive. FWD models sold between 2007 to 2011 have at least dual airbags, ABS brakes, rear fog lamps, rear sensors, under floor compartment, all power features, automatic climate control, keyless entry, and alarm. AWD variants from 2007 til 2011 adds stability control, hill descent control, parking sensors, chrome door handles, automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers, front skid plate, front and rear fog lamps, power folding mirrors, on board computer, and Bluetooth. A disc changer was made available but dropped in 2010. The 2012 update made all variants come with the goodies found in the AWD standard with the exception of stability control and hill descent which was dropped out of the option list while power folding mirrors and front rain sensing wipers (rear is automatic) is still AWD exclusive. Other options only available with the AWD are: cruise control, steering wheel controls, 18 inch alloys, and leather seats. A MIAS Edition launched in 2010 is basically a diesel AWD that adds rear view camera, step board, USB capability, and GPS navigation system.

A third row seat is made available in March 2009 and later models. Treat them as an emergency seats, since it is not comfortable to sit in.
