Car Choices:
There is no need to look beyond the 1.1 gasoline engine, as it is peppy enough and plenty of Getz's have this one in the market. The other gasoline motor available is the 95hp 1.4 (this replaced the briefly sold 82hp 1.3) which offers more power.
For ecofreaks, there is the 1.5 110hp diesel available. While fuel efficient, it is slow on its heels unlike the Accent (whose engine is shared with) of the same period.
1.1 GL models come with power windows, power steering, CD player, fabric seats, 60/40 split rear bench, and power door locks. A spec-up (basically the features from the 1.4 GL) model made available in 2011 adds an alarm system, keyless entry, rear wiper with washer and defogger, and power mirrors. Apart from the diesel engine paired with a manual transmission, going for the 1.5 GL adds fog lamps and a rear spoiler.
