Car Choices:
For first time buyers and drivers, a 2.0 with either 227hp (for 2002-early 2006) or 230hp (2006-2007) which powers the WRX are advisable. This engine is fast but less intimidating for those who are new in the experience. A 295hp 2.5 that motivates the WRX STi will give you thrills at a blistering rate.

Early WRX models come with a limited slip differential, airbags, ABS brakes, all power amenities, cassette tuner with 3-disc changer, folding rear seat, alarm, body kit with spoiler, and keyless entry. Updated models add hood scoop, sport exhaust, aluminum pedals, moon roof, six disc changer (the cassette was chucked off), and leather seats. WRX STi variants gain a Momo steering wheel, blue interior trim, STi materials, and different body kits.
