Car Choices:
There is no need to look beyond the 2.0 diesel which carries 160hp since it is impressive when it comes to acceleration and returns decent fuel economy figures.
Unless you have an oil well at your backyard, skip the 3.0 V6 gasoline if possible. Sure, it has seamless acceleration but the consumption is a nightmare.
Regardless of what is under the hood, all Freelanders get: seven airbags, ABS brakes, stability control, Terrain Response control, gradient release control, tire pressure monitor, fog lamps, front and rear sensors, automatic HID headlamps, headlamp washers, rain sensing wipers, leather upholstery, moon roof, power mirrors with fold, six disc changer, keyless entry, central locking, and alarm. The 3.0 V6 adds 12 speakers (2.0 Tdi comes with 8) with Dolby Pro Logic IIX System.
