Choose the diesel, you wouldn't lose anything in terms of ownership experience. The 233hp 3.0 V6 diesel is one great engine; it provides a smooth acceleration and exemplary performance.
There is a 4.2 V8 which pumps out 350hp, this is also one good engine in terms of power delivery and overall performance. But with the diesels existence, this engine is a second choice.
You get tons of equipment here: cruise control, eight airbags (six prior to November 2009), brake assist, hill hold and descent assist control, stability control, anti slip reduction, front and rear sensors, fog lamps, headlamp washers, automatic headlamps, roof rails, leather seats, power mirror with heat and fold, power tailgate, Bluetooth, alarm system, keyless entry, six disc changer, and foot well lighting added in 2009. S-Line models, introduced in November 2009, gives you larger wheels, body kit, leather with alcantara seats, and aluminum scuff plates.
