Basic or more punch? That's the question, and to give that an answer go for the 1.8 with 225hp. It may have the Quattro all wheel drive system, but hey, it injects more power. The other option still carries the same displacement that carries 180hp and runs on ordinary front wheel drive. Do remember that the 1.8 FWD has a 5-speed manual while the AWD gets the 6-speed manual.
All models get airbags, ABS brakes, automatic slip reduction, fog lamps, rear spoiler, leather upholstery, aluminum interior accents, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, automatic climate control, six disc changer with cassette, keyless entry, and alarm, The 1.8 Quattro adds xenon headlamps, headlamp washers, and first aid kit.
