Car Choices:
The good news is that, buying one isn't prohibitive now; bad thing is, you are enjoying an epitome of off-road and luxury without 4WD. If you need that option, check for grey market imports since they do carry that. Local models do need to contend with a 2WD drivetrain.

The 4.2 inline-six diesel that carries 204hp is the ideal option since it is friendly with fuel and offers pull in the low range. Ignore the gasoline engines, which we would recommend if you see one.

Even if you get a 2WD, you don't feel scrimped on luxury amenities. You get six airbags, ABS brakes, stability control, fog lamps, headlamp washers, roof rails, leather seats, all power features, automatic climate control, six disc changer, rear seat audio system, on board computer, keyless entry, and alarm. Those bought from the grey market have varying equipment options, so checking them out does not hurt.
